Remembering him?

Remembering him!!!
This was a very innocent question when a friend of many year asked me going off the handle many times, yesterday.Where is the question of remembering, when I have not forgotten him for a millisecond also? Though Harivansh Rai Bachchan died in 2003, could it make me forget him .I had grown up on his poems , quoting him every now and then, humming his verses whenever the world showed ugly side, whenever I lost friends, I just wiped away my tears and tried to move on, keeping the pain in the heart drawing inspiration from his lines .In fact, till date , I have kept those Hindi books with me which introduced me first to his work .That poem" beet gaye din ve, beet jayenge ye bhi" always gave me a message to move on.I was so fond of Bachchan ji and his madhushala, that whenever a friend wanted me to gift something very special, they will come, hands folded back, saying" You will not believe what I have brought for you?" and I used to say without batting my eyelid"Madhushala"That way I gathered 7 copies and I could not part with any of those....
shayad vo bachpana hi ho .But even today, whenever I m depressed, happy or lonely, its Bachchan ji's work which give me solace.
