Kahan gayi mamata?

Nahin, Mamata koi bichudi hui, saheli ka naam nahin. Main to dhoondh rahi hoon us mamata ko jis ke samaksh ishvar bhi natmastak ho jaate hain.


Last one month , the TV channels are showing some really disturbing stories. No, not the stories of terrorism, war or big policies being drafted, not even of hunger, poverty and diseases. These are the stories of infants being deseted or thrown away by their parents.

I saw three different reports, all having one thing in common, a new born thrown in the darkness of night , just to become the morsel of vultures , dogs or other wild animals. A life struggling even before opening the eyes. One baby was found in trash , another in the drain, severely injured, wanting one breath of life.
I fail to understand how one can be so indifferent to the child one has kept in womb for nine long months?
Was moved when i came across a report from calcutta where a mother has killed the newborn baby girl just because they wanted a boy.Kahan suna tha maan apne pran dekar bhi bacche ko apne rakt se seenchti hai, vahi maan agar hatyari ban jaye to kya hoga?
