Happy New year

Wishing you all a very Happy and prosperous New Year.Sometimes I feel the new year is quite akin to an infant who was in secure womb of time,unaware of what potential it has ?

What differences it will make to the lives of people? Unaware of burden of expectations of people about the future, it simply open its eyes. Its not only the new year that gives moments to remember to us , some happy, some sad but we also give the new year something to speak of. Every year is spoken because of important events that unfolded that year, important discoveries , inventions, great deeds of charity, steps towards peace, humanitarian service and also callous events of terrorism , tragedies and natural disasters and loss of life. 2008 Today we are preparing to welcome the year 2009, lets try to make this a wonderful year .
हर बदलते साल के साथ,
बहुत कुछ बदलता है,
नहीं बदलता तो हमारा परिस्थियों की और ये नज़रिया कि चलता है.
बदलती हैं आशाएँ, कामनाएँ, उम्मीदें
बदल जाते हैं सफलता को मापने के परिमाण
कभी कभी मूल्य भी बदल जाते हैं,
और बदलते हैं सिद्धांत भी.
उच्छश्रंखल धाराएं कभी
हो जाती हैं शांत भी.
पर चाहती हूँ बदले कुछ भी,
ना छूटे कभी ये साथ.
छोर शब्दों का टूटे तो भी,
होती रहे मन कि मन से बात.
